  • Therapy is tailored to the age and interests of the individual child.
  • They feel wonderful during and after the session.
  • This is a very gentle therapy with no apparent effort on the part of the child but with amazing results.
  • In order to ensure a positive attitude to the therapy, we describe the sessions as "relaxation."
  • For all children under the age of 16 years. a responsible adult (with whom they feel at ease) must be in attendance during the initial consultation and subsequent treatment.
  • The permission of a parent or guardian is essential, prior to therapy.
  • Children are not suitable clients for analytical therapy, however, they make excellent suggestion therapy client.

The link between mind and body has been a source of fascination for thousands of years - we've all heard stories of people using seemingly superhero strength to pull loved ones from scenes of accidents, of people badly injured and not knowing it during emergency situations.

Our minds are equivalent to the foot on the accelerator pedal in a car, they can increase the power…or withhold it.

Additional symptoms to those shown above may include;

  • Stomach pains (or irritable bowel)
  • Rapid heart beat
  • Shortness of breath
  • Nail biting
  • Hair pulling/chewing
  • Refusal to attend school

"One in ten children experience clinically defined, mental health problems that might
last for a year or more that would stop them doing normal things, such as being able to make friends, go to school and function productively."
